COVID-19 also known as the Coronavirus continues to change unpredictably and the shelter in place guidelines have once again been extended. Here at Oakley Youth Soccer Club our simple objective is to keep our players and their families safe during this outbreak and therefore we have
officially cancelled our SPRING 2020 Season
Before the COVID-19 outbreak, our club was already completely geared up for the spring season. Liability insurance had been paid for, all permits had been submitted, all game fields had been painted and equipment repairs had been made, portable bathrooms had been delivered and maintained, uniforms had been ordered, paid for, and received. Keeping all of this in mind, all the “gearing up” for the season has already cost our club some funds. Due to the fact that we are a non-profit club and we give back at the end of each season, we do not have a surplus, we need to take everything into consideration when issuing refunds.
Registration refunds will be offered to each player. There will be a small fee to help with the costs that we have incurred during our season gear up as well as processing fees that will arise during refunds. Fees are as follows: a $5 fee for Junior Academy, a $10 fee for U6 and U8 divisions and a $15 fee for U10 and U12 divisions.
All uniforms were ordered, paid for and delivered before the COVID-19 outbreak had required the shelter in place. If we could have foreseen any of this, we would not have ordered informs. Due to the current mandated orders for social distancing and shelter in place for non-essential businesses we are not able to distribute the uniforms at this time. Once these orders have been lifted, we will send out information for uniform distributions.
If you registered online, your refund will be made to the bank account you currently have on file with your SportsEngine account. If you would like the refund deposited into a different account, please make sure you log in to your account and change the billing account information before Monday, April 13th.
If you registered at one of our walk-in registrations, your refund will be mailed to you. We will be calling you individually to confirm your mailing address. Due to the shelter in place and social distancing regulations, we cannot offer cash refunds. We ask for your patience during this process as we need to physically pull each registration and contact each and every one of you individually.
These past few weeks have been very overwhelming as we transitioned our lives to the shelter in place, work from home and distance learning and we ask for your patience as we work our way through all the refunds as we all juggle this current reality. We truly appreciate all the support you have shown us mostly during this difficult time. It was a heartbreaking decision to cancel our spring season, but your safety is our number one priority. We know how excited everyone is to get back on the field and we look forward to seeing you all out there again soon. We will continue to monitor the outbreak and prepare for a stronger comeback during our Fall Season!

If you have soccer cleats or shin guards your player has out grown please consider donating them to OYSC. Coach Todd and his family will sanitize and organize all items received by size.
If your family would like to swap for a bigger size they can or if your family is in need of soccer cleats or shin guards they are free of charge.
We will have donation bins at each of our in-person registrations or you can drop off your items into the donation bin at:

Oakley youth soccer Club is a non-profit organization that has been serving the community for over ten years! Striving to provide a great soccer experience for any child interested in playing. Our club offers recreational and competition soccer teams. With our volunteer staff, and local sponsors, it is our mission to keep our prices affordable for everyone, and not turn anyone away due to finical hardship. Our long term goal is to rely solely on sponsorships, to make a free soccer program for academically qualified athletes!
